It is so nice to see a film these days that is so well paced, funny, and largely believable.
Very well acted by the lead (Parminder K. Nagra), with generally good supporting performances throughout. There is good character development and interaction, concentrating largely on families, and where your and their decisions can take you. The humour is not so much "in your face" jokes, as it is general situational humour - but you will be laughing throughout, and recalling funny scenes long after the movie has finished. You don't need to know much, if anything, about football (soccer) to appreciate this film. A must see ... |
